ABOUT
Judicial power
BY THE GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY
President of the Republic of Indonesia,
Considering:
a. that judicial power according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia is an independent power carried out by a Supreme Court and a judicial body under it in the general court environment, religious court environment, military court environment, state administrative court environment, and by a Constitutional Court, to organize justice to uphold law and justice;
b. that in order to realize an independent judiciary and a clean and authoritative judiciary, it is necessary to arrange an integrated justice system;
c. that Law Number 4 of 2004 concerning Judicial Power is no longer in accordance with the development of legal needs and state administration according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia;
d. that based on the considerations referred to in letter a, letter b, and letter c need to form a law on judicial power;
Bearing in mind: Article 20, Article 21, Article 24, Article 24A, Article 24B, Article 24C and Article 25 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia;
With mutual agreement

President of the Republic of Indonesia
DECIDE:
To stipulate: Law on Judicial Power.
